Since Colgate’s founding, estate gifts have established endowed scholarships, created faculty chairs, and supported the University’s general needs through unrestricted endowment. Today, thanks in part to generous estate gifts from alumni and friends, Colgate’s endowment is more than $1 billion.
While welcoming donors into Colgate’s Willow Society, the University currently counts the estimated value of a commitment for anyone 70 or older toward the Campaign for the Third Century. Willow Society members have already contributed more than $150 million in this way to the Campaign.
If Colgate is already in your plans but we are unaware, it is important for Colgate to understand your philanthropic vision and steward your generosity appropriately. Therefore, we invite you to use the secure link below to complete the non-binding documentation sharing your Colgate-related estate plans with us.
If you are age eligible, Colgate will then count your plans toward the Campaign for the Third Century’s $1 billion goal.

The discussion herein is general in nature and may not apply to all individuals. Prospective donors are urged to consult their personal tax and financial advisors concerning the specific consequences of making gifts to Colgate. We would be pleased to discuss, in confidence, ways in which you may support Colgate. These measures may also have an impact on your estate planning.
